Below is the written pattern for size 6 months.
The pattern is also written for sizes 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 years. The pattern for the larger sizes is available in my shop, on Etsy or Lovecrafts.

Materials:
- Furls Streamline Resin 6.00 mm • US J-10
- 2 skeins of Red Heart, Soft in the colour Tangerine or similar medium (4) yarn
- scissors
- stitch markers
- darning needle
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
BLO – back loop only
YO sl st in 3rd- yarn over slip stitch in the 3rd loop
Special stitches:
YO sl st in 3rd – YO, insert hook into the 3rd loop, pull through. With 3 loops on the hook, use the 1st loop to pull through the 2nd and 3rd loop on your hook to end up with one loop on your hook. When working the foundation chain, work in the back bumps. As this is worked in turned rows, when turning the 3rd loop can be found under the front loop.
Notes:
Using US terms, this sweater is worked in rows and is crocheted in 4 pieces and then sewn. The ribbing for the neck is added last.
- turning chains do not count as a stitch
- this sweater is designed to be worn with a 15 cm/6” positive ease (oversized)
BACK PANEL
Ch 41
Row 1: In the 2nd ch from hook, 4 sl st, 36 YO sl st in the back bumps, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: 36 YO sl st inthe 3rd, 4 sl st BLO, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 4 sl st BLO, 36 YO sl st in the 3rd, ch 1, turn.
Repeat Row 2-3 until total row count of 50 rows. Leave a long tail for sewing.
FRONT PANEL
- Same as BACK PANEL until Row 8.
- Decrease Row A: 4 sl st BLO, YO sl st in the 3rd in each st across to last st, leave last st unworked, ch 1, turn.
- Decrease Row B: YO sl st in 3rd in each st across to last 4 sts, 4 sl st BLO, ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Decrease Rows A & B until completing Row 20 and YO sl st count is 30.
- Non-Increase Row A: 4 sl st BLO, YO sl st in the 3rd to end, ch 1, turn.
- Non-Increase Row B: YO sl st in the 3rd to last 4 sts, 4 sl st BLO, ch 1, turn.
- Repeat Non–Increase Rows A&B until Row 29
- Row number 30: Work one more Non-Increase Row with ch 2 at the end, turn.
- Increase Row A: Starting in second ch from hook, YO sl st in the 3rd in each st to last 4 sts, 4 sl st BLO, ch 1, turn.
- Increase Row B: 4 sl st BLO, YO sl st in the3rd in each st to end, ch 2, turn.
- Work Increase Rows to row 41 and YO sl st in the 3rd count is 36.
- Work Non-Increase Rows to total row count of 50. Maintain stitch pattern. Leave a long tail for sewing.
SLEEVES (make 2)
ch 31
Row 1: In the 2nd from the hook, 8 sl st BLO, 22 YO sl st in the back bumps, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: 22 YO sl st in the 3rd, 8 sl st BLO.
Row 3: 8 sl st BLO, 22 YO sl st in the 3rd.
Repeat Row 2-3 until total row count of 40 rows.
Leave a long tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY
Ensure that the panels are facing the correct* side and sew the shoulders, sides, leaving a gap for the sleeves. Sew the sleeves together and on sweater.
*When facing the right side, the stitches look like Vs.
NECK RIBBING
Attach yarn to the the middle back of the sweater. Sc across, placing one sc in every row. sl st in the first sc to join.
Ch 6
In the 2nd from the hook, 4 sl st BLO. Insert hook in the last st, place marker, pull through, insert hook into the next sc. With 3 loops on hook, use the first loop to pull through remaining 2 loops. Sl st in the next sc and turn your work. Starting with the marked st, 5 sl st, ch1 and turn
Repeat from * to * across the neck. Sl st the two ends together.
Weave in all ends.
And voilà! Your sweater is ready!
